nathan phillips resides in minneapolis, minnesota where he explores various forms of free improvisational performance and creative recording techniques. he has been closely involved with the tuesday night series for improvisation and experimentation since 2003. here on insides music, nathan presents elements of mouth, trumpet, percussion, microphone, and field recordings to create 'kinda music.'
